Who We Are UpLevel HR Consulting is a Human Resource consulting firm based in eastern North Carolina that provides fractional Human Resource support to service-based and non-profit organizations. We provide coaching and advising to organizational leaders and HR implementation to support risk management, staff development, and growth. Position Details We are looking for a professional who is inspired by our purpose and the clients we serve. As the Administrative Assistant to the CEO and HR Projects, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential administrative support to our CEO while contributing to the success of client projects by managing HR administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of functions, including personnel file management, HRIS support, leave and benefits administration, training coordination, research, ad-hoc reporting, and ensuring workplace compliance. Key Deliverables: - Executive Support: Provide administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
- HR Project Support: Assist in setting up, auditing, and maintaining personnel files, managing employee data, handling leave requests, benefits administration, and ensuring accurate records.
- Recruiting Workflow Management: Coordinate and support the recruiting workflow, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process, adhering to established timelines and protocols.
- Training Coordination: Utilize our CRM to assign and monitor training courses for clients, ensuring seamless coordination and completion tracking.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research on HR-related topics, compile data, and generate ad-hoc reports as needed for client projects and internal purposes.
- Compliance Assurance: Assist in maintaining workplace compliance by staying updated on relevant regulations and ensuring adherence to HR laws and policies.
Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably supporting senior leadership with HR-related duties.
- Familiarity with HR administrative tasks such as personnel file management, HRIS systems, leave and benefits administration.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and excellent computer skills, especially in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with attention to detail.
- Candidates must possess a private, professional home office equipped with necessary technology (such as a computer, webcam, high-speed internet) to effectively perform the duties of this role. This includes a quiet space conducive to conducting confidential conversations and maintaining a focused work environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an HR-related role or working with HR consulting firms.
- Knowledge of workplace compliance regulations and practices.
- Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 30 hours/week. This is a remote-first position but qualified candidates must reside in the Wilmington, NC area for training, collaboration, and internal meetings. Benefits Paid Time Off including company paid holidays. Remote-first position with some in-person work for training, collaboration, and internal meetings.
