International Medical Corps seeks Application Architect (Los Angeles, CA): Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient software applications aligned with architectural blueprints and business requirements. Minimum requirements: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, a related Engineering discipline, or related computational field and three (3) years of experience (with Master’s) or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience (with Bachelor’s) in the job offered or a related software development role. Prior experience must include three (3) years (with Master’s) or five (5) years (with Bachelor’s) in/with: the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance; a modern programming language, such as Python or JavaScript; front-end application development using HTML and CSS; Must have three (3) prior years of experience in/with: mockup and UI prototyping tools including Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision and Balsamiq; at least two of the following JavaScript frameworks: ReactJS, Svelte, VueJS, AngularJs, NextJS; TypeScript; CI/CD application deployment tools (Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Jenkins, or similar); Must have two (2) prior years of experience in/with: application development on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Provider (GCP), or Digital Ocean platform; designing and implementing RESTful APIs; Microservices design and deployment; containerization and orchestration tools like Docker; performance tuning and optimization techniques including Profiling, code refactoring and algorithmic improvements; and Agile development methodologies.
