Title: Business Analyst

Duration: 12 Months

There are multiple, medium to large, complex, cross-division projects involving internal IT development and Vendor engagements to deliver on the Iowa Department of Public Health strategy and an initiative to build out the department's Project Management Office.
As we emerge from the pandemic, building, installing, and upgrading multiple programs and capabilities to protect the health of Iowans is imperative.
Projects will vary but include upgrades to the AMANDA professional licensing application and the Disease Surveillance System. Other project opportunities include building out the Project Management Office and implementing a Project Portfolio tool
These projects allow IDPH and Information Management to execute on strategy.
All of these initiatives are in the very early stages.
These projects will include the delivery of a Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP). An RFI is currently being drafted.
These initiatives will include both internal staff as well as vendor implementation teams and will last 12-24 months.
Projects will include both waterfall and agile methodologies.
