This is a very exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's largest aerospace companies! The contracts are regularly extended and direct opportunities are often available. Supplier Quality Engineers (Mid-Level) to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. Position Responsibilities: Represents BGS Supplier Quality function on F/A-15 and/or F/A-18 team activities to integrate contractual and Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general direction. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): A Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, mathematics, physics or chemistry 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Specialist Preferred Skills and Experience 1+ year aerospace or manufacturing experience Please make sure the below information is included in the notes of candidates profile for consideration Current Location: Availability to relocate: Degree: Additional Skills: Skills: | Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. | The Structures Company is a national staffing firm specializing in contract, contract to hire and direct hire placement opportunities.
