- Conduct Receiving, In-Process, and Final inspections
- Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation
- Perform and inspect wire terminations and wire harness assembly conforming to customer specifications
- Perform/Inspect electrical checkout of manufactured wire harnesses (OJT)
- Document records/inspections, identifying compliance with assigned tasks (OJT)
- Inspect end products according to designs, specifications, and work instructions (OJT)
- Use CMM, Faro Arms and other inspection tools and methods to inspect tooling, first article and production parts
- Train and assist other technicians on techniques and procedures
- Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Board (MRB) process
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements Education/Training: - High School diploma required
- Associates Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desired
Experience: - 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Ability to comprehend schematics, logic drawings, layouts, wire lists, and prints required
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits required
- Knowledge of cable assembly procedures required
- Skills in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance required
- Experience using Number/Bubble Drawings to create Inspection Reports
- U.S. military or commercial aircraft wire harness maintenance and wire termination experience using DMC Tools Daniels Kit style tools desired
- Experienced with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 desired
- Familiarity with USAF TO 1-1A-14 (AKA NAVAIR 01-1A-505-1 or TM 1-1500-323-21-1) desired
Security: - Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
