Title: Performance Testing
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: Long Term
Education: Bachelor or Master in Computer Science
Required Experience/Skills:
- Write and execute automation drivers in Java for load tests including defining applicable metrics and measurements for load, latency and longevity, building systems to apply loads
- Perform load tests and analyze the results to validate system performance and stability. Experience in test strategy, test design and writing performance test scripts
- Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and Work with developers and Engineers to fix the issues.
- Experience in tools such as Load Runner, JMeter
- Evaluate System performance and recommend improvements.
- Ability to debug performance test scripts, identification of performance bottlenecks using drill down analysis using monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana..)
- Must be proficient in core Java with a sound knowledge of data structures.
- Basic understanding of application servers, web, AJAX, Web Services, SOAP, REST.
