About the Job The Business Development Representative will contribute to building an exceptional company by helping generate new opportunities for the sales organization. About You You are a highly organized, endlessly curious individual who is independently motivated. You are able to balance administering daily sales activities while brainstorming innovative ideas to improve sales experiences and customer relationships. Requirements Responsibilities - Perform cold outreach across multiple channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate new sales opportunities for the Account Executive Team.
- Collaborate across Opals GTM (Go To Market) organization in order to identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate meetings, calls, and product demonstrations of the Opal App with prospects.
- Ensure excellent pre-and post-sales service.
- Bring insights to potential customers that reflect an understanding of the market, technology landscape, and other potential use cases.
- Efficiently navigate Salesforce and other sales operational tools to create, update, retrieve, and understand account, contact, and opportunity information.
- Research and report on market, customer, competitor, and regional landscapes.
- Communicate market feedback to Sales, Marketing and Product Development teams.
- Help to build a sales rhythm, including setting a precedent for consistent and effective internal communication, collaboration, reporting and forecasting.
- Support sales processes, tools and communications delivery around the Opal App from the GTM and Sales Organization.
Skills, Experience, Knowledge: - 1-2 years professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- B2B marketing software sales experience or SaaS sales experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience with digital productivity, collaboration and sales tools including; Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack and G Suite.
- Efficient at gathering, analyzing, and communicating customer and market research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting in-person and remotely to a diverse range of stakeholders, including C-Suite.
- High attention to detail with an everything matters approach.
- Creative, inquisitive and curious approach partnering with internal and external teams and customers.
- Comfortable moving between priorities and managing deadlines across multiple areas of focus. Skilled at prioritizing tasks and time.
- Capacity to accept and learn from constructive feedback.
- Committed to proactive collaboration and accountability; you are prepared, informed, and ready to go.

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree in a related field a plus.
