What youll do:

• Work with the team to build web apps, Airtable integrations, Adobe and Nuke workflow plug-ins, and other inventive tools to support our creative, production, post-production, accounts and marketing teams
• Design and implement automations to optimize our flow, improve our efficiency, obliterate friction, and reduce manual tasks for all
• Work independently but collaborate closely with our founder and our brilliant team of 16 kind folks across all departments
• Embrace constraint, think different, and put your magic into making our magic even moremagical

Requirements

Skills youll bring:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, with a solid grasp of API development
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end frameworks and libraries
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Pinecone) and cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud)
• Comfort with no-code tools, automation platforms, GPT, LLMs
• Curious thirst for AI agents and generative models
• Range of experience levels welcome, from junior to seasoned
• A passion for creative problem-solving and a relentless drive to build better

Benefits

• Starts out as a six-month contract with a competitive salary around $100,000/year (as a conversation starter), flexible based on experience, pro-rated for the duration of the contract
• Potential to transition into a full-time staff position based on performance and company needs, with a yearly cost-of-living increase and holiday bonus

• Were a mostly-LA team working mostly remotely over Slack, but you can join us in our LA office for weekly gatherings (Must currently reside in the Southern California area)
