Chegg, Inc. seeks Product Manager in Santa Clara, CA:
Job Duties: Lead development of best-in-class products and features needed to engage students in their learning journey in a highly personalized and localized way for global audiences. Deliver holistic and delightful experiences end-to-end for the company’s desktop or mobile web applications. Collaborate cross-functionally with other Product Managers, UX and Learning Designers, Engineers, Product Marketers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts. Develop and prioritize a roadmap and feature backlog by working with cross-functional members of the Product Team to define, scope, deliver, launch, optimize, and report on key features and functionality needed to meet long-term Product Vision, near-term Product Strategy and Annual Programs and OKRs. Define detailed use-cases, product requirements, user flows and technical specifications needed to support quality standards for product development. Deliver and report on the performance of product experiences launched, developing hypothesis and recommendations on next steps. Take a data-driven approach to making decisions and gaining user insight leveraging rigorous A/B testing, qualitative/quantitative research, customer feedback, data analysis tools, and own heuristics through use of the product. Deliver committed roadmap initiatives in-scope, on-time, and with great quality, helping Product Teams to rationalize trade-offs and priorities. Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product dev team. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted. Salary: $170,186 to $195,000.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a product manager-related or business/data analyst-related position.
Special Skill Requirements: at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills: 1. Engineering processes including SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, and sprint planning; 2. UX tools including Figma; 3. Product analytics tools including Google analytics, SQL, and Python; 4. A/B testing, Statistics and experiment design; and 5. Product management.
