Facility: Bagley Medical Center Location: Bagley, MN Address: 203 4th St NW, Bagley, MN 56621, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40. 00 Salary Range: $27.50 - $44.00 Job Summary Provides work direction of daily responsibilities of staff technologists. Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures through operation of specialized equipment. Possesses the skills and knowledge of diagnostic x-rays. Ability to perform related procedures and protocols. Ability to learn new technology and ability orient new technologists. Possesses the knowledge and skills to observe, evaluate, and participate in the educational processes of the radiologic technology students. Possesses the ability to professionally obtain information from patients or their responsible parties to further improve personalized treatment and care. Works to develop an understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status. Works well with all age groups. Delivers excellent patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Ability to understand and navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection is required. Computer skills are preferred. Minimum of three years technical experience and a thorough knowledge of modern techniques and procedures used in the field of radiology. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
