Edge Vancouver Construction Group Ltd. is seeking to hire a Carpenter.

Position details:
• Type: Permanent, full-time position (40 hrs/wk)
• Hourly wage: $30.00

Job location: various construction sites in Greater Vancouver area

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school,
• 1-2 years of previous carpentry experience.
• Good command of English.

Job Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, prepare layouts;
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join lumber and wood materials;
• Build different construction structures like foundations, walls, roof and floor systems, install floor beams etc;
• Use measuring, hand and power carpentry tools in a professional manner;
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware as required;
• Repair and renovate different wooden structures;
• Follow established safety rules.
