Twilio, Inc. seeks Software Engineer (L2) in San Francisco, CA

Job Duties: Implement software engineering solutions using Java/Scala/Python languages and related frameworks along with the integration and deployment to the popular cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure. Put into practice the fundamentals of distributed systems to design and build new products, as well as maintain existing systems based on technologies and storages like: Kafka, Spark, AWS S3, along with relational and non-relational database management systems like: MySQL, AuroraDB, and DynamoDB. Drive quality by writing unit tests, functional tests, and performance tests in a continuous software delivery environment. Support development operations, building, releasing, and assisting with teams on-call. Collaborate with highly experienced colleagues on several Big Data technologies to produce high-quality software. Telecommuting Permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of computer engineering or software development.

Salary: $147,368 – $160,700 per year.
