Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
We're currently seeking a full-time Bookkeeper for the office at Vancouver locations. We offer competitive wages, 2 weeks of paid vacation. In this role, you will work closely with the accounting department, staff, and external service providers, and will oversee day-to-day accounting functions.
Main Duties:
Updates employee payroll profiles as necessary, uploads employee documents/certificates to DayForce and ensures all employee information is correct.
Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.
Reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books.
Post journal entries and advertisements.
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
prepare financial statements.
Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
Prepare, complete tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents and forms.
Prepares a bank deposit slip daily for any cash/cheques.
Organizes work orders for incoming appointments;
Other related duties as assigned.
