Job Responsibilities

Help in designing landscapes, including selecting appropriate plants and arranging them aesthetically.
Cart and spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees as directed.
Use power mowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, and other landscape maintenance equipment to maintain lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas.
Cut grass, rake, fertilize, and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees as required.
Conduct spring and fall cleanups to prepare landscapes for the coming season, including mulching, edging, and protecting plants.
Perform regular maintenance on landscaping tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and safe operation.
Remove and properly dispose of or recycle yard waste and debris from landscaped areas.
Remove snow with shovels, snow blowers, and plowing equipment. Apply de-icing materials to walkways and driveways to ensure safety.
Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.


Job Requirements

Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to seasonal changes in workload.
Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within deadlines.
