Quantity Surveyor ( MEP )
• Amsterdam, Netherlands Based
• Long Term Consulting opportunity
• Elect Mech Industrial Processing Background preferred.

We are looking to hire a ( mid-level 9 5 to 8 years’ experience ) Quantity Surveyor for a long term consulting role in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Scope of Role

• Provision of team members with M&E expertise.
• Demonstrated proficiency and extensive experience in Mechanical and Electrical systems, with the ability to assess associated costs effectively.
• Proven track record in delivering MEP cost management services.
• Capability to advise Contract Manager on crucial MEP cost determinants, project expenses, and value engineering.
• Expertise in feasibility and cost planning, procurement guidance, tender documentation, and post-contract services.
• Proficient in a variety of project procurement options, ensuring effective and efficient practices.
• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision and fine with a high degree of field site based activity.
• Experience in client, consultant, and contractor-facing roles, adeptly collaborating within dynamic team environments.
• Outstanding communication skills and experienced in post contract claims work would be desired.

Responsibilities:
• Execution of full quantity surveying and cost management duties.
• Provision of pre and post-contract advice.
• Ensuring the delivery of the highest quality service to clients.
• Offering high-quality MEP cost advice on intricate projects spanning various sectors.

Qualifications

• Dutch speaking preferred but not essential.
• 5 to 8 years of experience gained on industrial projects within the processing domain ( O&G, chemicals complexes etc )
• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Professional Certification is highly desired ( RICS , MRICS, CIOB , MCIOB including overseas certs such as CIQS , AIQS, NZIQS PQS).
• EU work rights would be highly desired.
