Design, develop, and implement software application solutions that enable data automation, cluster management, data processing systems, databases and transaction management. Detailed job duties include: Analyze user needs and collect requirements. Design multi-tenant distributed systems augmented with security and high performance features. Be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, modification, maintenance, support in an agile development environment and operations in production. Design and develop features and APIs to improve the overall performance and ease of use of the software and overall end-to-end user experience. Deploy the developed software solutions in a multi-cloud environment. Support production-grade distributed infrastructure systems with a focus on cloud-hosted SaaS data processing platforms. Design solutions that meet specific requirements to achieve a higher level of reliability, scalability, and evolvability for all the services and features. Review code from other team members and give feedback on issues. Establish best software development practices. Mentor engineers and drive cross-functional collaborations. $215,197 - $264,300 per year. Minimum job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System Management, Information Networking, Electrical Engineering, Maths or a related technical field and at least five years of experience. Will accept Master’s degree plus three years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience. Must have experience in the following areas; Programming experience with at least one of the following: C, C++, Java, Scala, or Python; Experience with Cloud APIs; Experience with cloud technologies including at least one of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform. May Telecommute from any US location.
