Job Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Devise and implement processes and collaborative efforts for multi-disciplinary software and engineering teams. Serve as liaison and present information, recommendations, and technical details tailored to business stakeholders, senior executives, Engineering Leadership, and other technical staff. Define and drive technical solutions and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor and manage milestones, risks, dependencies, and priorities to maximize development efficiency, identify technical gaps and requirements, and improve the overall strategic goals.

Lead and oversee information technology (IT) projects and initiatives, capabilities enablement & progress, and ensure deliverable plans are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. Lead product development initiatives in close collaboration with highly technical, cross-functional teams and individuals to form clear, holistic implementation plans aligned to roadmaps and help manage deliverables on schedule and at the highest quality. Translate business and technical requirements into concrete deliverables for a suite of Design and Manufacturing CAD/CAM, and Printed Circuit Boards design software. Use technical and engineering background, product knowledge, and organizational and program management techniques to identify gaps, dependencies, risks. Align and guide teams throughout Strategy, Product Roadmaps / Planning, and Development & Release processes. Ensure and enable the highest engineering, security, and privacy standards for Autodesk’s enduring products and ultimately users. Devise and implement processes and collaborative efforts for multi-disciplinary software engineering teams. Work in close collaboration with other leadership, including product managers and engineers, to make and influence product-level judgements that maximize product excellence and timeliness for the Autodesk Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions organization. Leverage technical and Autodesk Product knowledge and cross-industry experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence modeling, topology optimization, simulation technologies, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and electronics design. Shape and influence decision-making, team performance, and quality delivery of technical solutions in ambiguous, fast-paced, and complex environments where priorities can shift, and resources are highly constrained. Lead all aspects of leadership and technical discussion & design meetings to track status and deliver to executive teams. Monitor strategic, long-range planning, organizational health, decision processes, technical trainings, and people development initiatives in conjunction with staff and HR Business Partners for Engineering organization. Oversee residency programs at Autodesk's Technology Centers to foster a community of innovators and thought leaders in design and manufacturing.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related technical field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a technical project management-related occupation.

Special Requirements:
Position requires at least 8 years of experience in each of the following skills:
1. Strategy, Operations and Engineering leadership experience with Computer
Aided Design, Computer Aided Manufacturing, or Computer Aided Engineering software development within manufacturing domain (link removed)
2. Experience in leading and managing both internal and external technical
programs from proposal through completion focused on delivering the best-in-class technologies.

Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:
3. Strong business management competence and experience with interfacing large
scale, geographically dispersed programs, and stakeholders (stakeholder management, global teams, decision making frameworks).
4. Application Development Security knowledge to lead team efforts to achieve
compliance with highest privacy and security standards and platform governance; a firm understanding of Threat Modeling, Secure Coding, Security Testing, Third-Party Component Management as well as infrastructure security and privacy.
5. Deep understanding of electronics, circuit design, signal integrity and Printed
Circuit Boards layout, as well as experience with simulation and optimization tools. Experience with Artificial Intelligence and machine learning techniques, including generative modeling as well as additive manufacturing.
6. Technical fluency and ability to lead, discuss and explain complex information in
a clear and concise manner, schedule trade-offs and identify new opportunities with technical and non-technical team members and effectively present technical plans and concepts.
7. Drive data quality and analytics through enterprise reporting and business
intelligence tools; comfortable with statistical and analytical modeling.
8. Technical background in programming languages like Python or C# and their
applications in the design and manufacturing domains and familiarity with software development tools like Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
