1. Machine Operation: Gathers blocks or cylinders and filler materials. Works with wood and plastic blocks and cylinders and various natural and manmade filler materials including but not limited to natural fiber, nylon, prope, bassine, tampico and wire. Loads machine with materials; starts machine; drills and fills entire brush, moving block if necessary from drill to fill side; runs through trimmer if necessary; slots blocks as necessary; operates balancer machine as necessary; Runs entire job; obtains inspection from Technician, Cell Leader or Quality Assurance on determined percentage of parts and completes appropriate paperwork; visually inspects each brush for quality; repairs brushes as necessary; empties shavings from vacuum into garbage can as needed and occasionally lifts and transports 150-pound garbage can with assistance from coworker.

• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools in order to operate drilling/filling/trimming/slotting machines and assemble parts
• Ability to lift up to 50-pound cylinders in Large Cylinder Cell 3 – 15 times per hour
• Ability to occasionally lift 60-pound boxes of materials and frequently lift finished brushes weighing up to 25 pounds
