Job Description
HealthCare Partners, Nevada Medical Group is currently seeking dynamic and energetic Board Certified Nurse Practitioner to float between our clinics, Durango, Tenaya, Wigwam and Red Rock. Our pediatric providers Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Performs a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, circumcisions, well childcare, and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases.

Requirements:

Must have or be eligible to have a current and unrestricted NP
Must be able to see 4 patients per hour the first years and 5 per after year 2
Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner
Must have or be eligible to have a Nevada Pharmacy and DEA License
A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Pediatrics
Managed Care experience is preferred
Available to work 1 weekend per month
Ability to float between practice locations
Essential Functions:

Examinations, evaluations, assessments; diagnose and treat illness and chronic medical conditions.
Ensures patient satisfaction and develops plans to improve patient satisfaction.
Participates in HealthCare Partners activities such as health fairs, classes, and community events, as required.
Triage patients to determine the level of care and refers to in-house Specialists.
Work collaboratively with Physicians and Specialists, nursing and support staff to provide quality patient care as well as educate patients and patient’s families.
