Responsibilities
o Oversee technical implementation of Adobe Experience Manager-based solutions, especially focusing on AEM Guides and design, develop, and implement technical solutions that meet the company's objectives and client requirements.
o Must have experience with AEM Guides for managing DITA content.
o Create and maintain solutions for AEM Guides.
o Extensive knowledge of the AEM architecture and technology (OSGi Framework, Servlet engine, Lucene indexing, Sling, etc.) are must.
o Solid understanding of various CMS technologies and experience in migrating to latest technologies
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define technical requirements and guide the implementation of AEM Guides features.
o Experience with AEM architecture, development and deployment using Cloud Manager
o Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable solutions leveraging AEM features such as components, templates, workflows, and client libraries.
o Develop custom components and templates for AEM Guides to meet specific project requirements.
o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
o Collaborate with content authors and administrators to optimize the authoring experience within AEM Guides.
o Stay current with AEM and industry trends, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance platform capabilities.
o Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile/Scrum processes to ensure successful project delivery.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM Guides implementation, performance, and integrations.
o Oversee technical implementation of projects involving Adobe AEM Technical Publications and design, develop, and implement technical solutions that meet the company's objectives and client requirements.
o Lead and manage technology roadmap, architecture and plans for technical team members fostering collaboration, innovation and professional development
o Guide developers on code optimization and best practices.
o Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the US
Qualifications
o 10+ years of experience in Digital Space specifically in handling various CMS applications including AEM, Sitecore, Drupal etc.
o 5+ years of experience in AEM Projects.
o Proven experience as an architect on AEM projects, with a focus on AEM Guides.
o Deep understanding of Adobe Experience Manager and its components, including AEM Guides, Sites, Assets, and Forms.
o Proficiency in AEM development tools and technologies, including Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL, and AEM Core Components.
o Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
o Strong understanding of content management concepts and best practices.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
o Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
o AEM certification(s) is a plus.
