Job Description:

• Follow established SOPs
• Sample login, tracking, and returns using a LIMS system
• Sample transfers between different laboratories
• Sample kit preparation and inventory management
• Sample preparation for organic analyses in chemical fume hoods and glove books
• Routine analysis using various methods
• Enter test results into LIMS in a timely and accurate manner
• Sample waste consolidation and disposal
• Ability to stand for 6 - 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with the help of coworkers
• Meets and exceeds all company safety procedures and standards

Requirements:

• HS Diploma with 1-2 years industrial laboratory experience OR
• Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar Science with 0 years experience
• Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment in the laboratory.
• Good organization skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills
• Ability to operate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Must have initiative and be self-motivated
• Ability to change plans on short notice and work with a flexible schedule
