Our client is looking AMS Support Consultant for Long term project in Auburn Hills, MI / Detroit, MI (Hybrid) below is the detailed requirements.

Duration : Long term

Job description:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 9+ years or relevant experience(link removed)
  • Experience in Strong analytical ability to quickly understand the issues, debug and arrive at solutions
  • strong experience in Hands on, Self-driven, Solution oriented and Customer focused
  • Strong AMS support experience
  • Ability to query the system logs and debug issues
  • Understand System integration concepts and especially API specifications
  • Ability to create flow diagrams to create an operational view of the functionality
  • Good exposure to automotive domain, preferably in the area of connected vehicle
  • Strong technical background demonstrating solid understanding of IT systems and ability to support them
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation
  • Performing operational tasks like monitoring, analysis, reporting and prompt attention to issues
  • Communications for any outages/incidents which affect the user community
  • Co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders for driving the issues towards the closure
  • Analyze incidents and come-up with improvement ideas to avoid incidents and reduce inflow
  • Perform system administration tasks e.g. certificate management, product version tracking and upgrade support, etc.
  • Any programming background is a plus
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings
