Job Description
The ANM/GNM Nurse will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. They will work as part of a team to assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. The ANM/GNM Nurse will be responsible for administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring vital signs, and providing education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and documenting patient health status and needs
- Developing and implementing care plans for patients
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and other patient data
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
- Participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Maintaining current knowledge of healthcare practices and regulations
Qualifications:
- ANM/GNM degree from a recognized institution
- Valid nursing license
- 5 plus years of experience as an ANM/GNM Nurse
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in the use of medical equipment and technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
