Location: Timonium,MD Mode of Interview:Video We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced APIGEE Admin specializing in Apigee DevOps with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP As a Senior Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our API management infrastructure and ensuring its seamless integration with GCP. Responsibilities : Design and develop scalable, robust, and secure API management solutions using Apigee on GCP. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, software engineers, and operations teams, to define and implement efficient DevOps processes for API management. Build and maintain automation tools, pipelines, and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of APIs and associated components. Develop custom policies, extensions, and plugins to enhance Apigee's functionality and meet specific business requirements. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance, reliability, and security using various monitoring and logging tools. Collaborate with development teams to understand API requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure best practices are followed for API design and development. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Apigee, GCP, and related technologies, and propose and implement innovative solutions to improve our API management infrastructure. Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior developers, guiding them in API management best practices and DevOps methodologies. Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations and implement appropriate security measures within the API management infrastructure. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient API solutions. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Extensive experience as a software developer, with a focus on API management using Apigee. Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly in deploying and managing Apigee environments. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. In-depth understanding of API design principles, RESTful architectures, and microservices. Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver. Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and concepts, including serverless computing and event-driven architectures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to API management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
