We are recruiting an APRN Behavioral Health nurse in Peterborough, NH.  

 

Location: Peterborough, NH (No relocation available)

 

You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. This is a full-time job. We would love someone with Behavioral Health experience, but would consider an NP with Family practice experience but has worked with medication assistance and/or behavioral medication review.

 

Responsibilities:

· Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses

· Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

· Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients

· Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures

· Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

· Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

 

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields

· Ability to build rapport with patients

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong leadership qualities

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, must have successfully completed an approved nurse practitioner program.

Must have a current license to practice as an ARNP in the State of New Hampshire, must have a current DEA number.

Experience: Prefer one year in clinical or practice setting.
