The part-time Accounting Specialist will support the Finance team with invoices, processing payments, preparing statements and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail with excellent knowledge of AR practices utilizing NetSuite. This position will be a 1099 contract role and will have the ability to convert to full time based on company need and personal performance.

Responsibilities

• Create all invoices and credit memos through the Oracle NetSuite platform, issue all invoices to proper portals (OpenInvoice and others)
• Be the point of contact on invoicing, accounts receivable, and aged receivables
• Receive, code, and apply payments in NetSuite
• Assist with preparation of client statements
• Communicate with the client regarding current invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in preparation of monthly close by making sure the prior months invoices are fully entered and payments are properly applied in NetSuite
• Initiate and research collection on outstanding/aged accounts that help support payment
• Anticipates customer needs, partners with Customer Success as needed, and fosters excellent customer service
• Maintains confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or General Accounting experience
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is required
• Experience with invoicing via customer portals, highly desirable but not required
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Able to work independently and proactively

Schedule:

• 20-30 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, general business hours
• Must be able to be in office 1-2 days/week
• Training will be in-person

Benefits

Compensation:

• $31-36/Hour
