Job DescriptionJob Summary The IS&T Audio Visual (A/V) support technician role will be responsible for implementation and support of video conferencing and conference room audio/visual solutions. Duties and Responsibilities " Perform conference room health checks to ensure audio visual and video conferencing systems are operating at optimal conditions" Resolve and track support requests and incidents, escalate issues to proper support teams" Support A/V upgrades and installations" Facilitate A/V vendor activities" Support and troubleshoot Apple devices (Apple TVs, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs)" Track and document A/V inventoryKey Qualifications " Good understanding of video conferencing and AV switching and control hardware (Cisco, Crestron, Extron preferred)" Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts" Excellent problem solving abilities" Able to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and complete tasks on time" Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)" Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools" Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Fluency in Spanish LanguageExperience and Education " 1+ years related experience " Certified A/V Technician preferred
