What We're Looking For We are in search of a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer who possesses a profound understanding of Amazon Web Services and its core offerings. The ideal candidate will excel in designing robust, scalable cloud architectures, be proficient in infrastructure as code, and have a strong grasp of AWS security best practices. AWS certifications are a plus, but passion for cloud technology and the ability to collaborate effectively are equally important qualities we're seeking in our candidates. Position Overview As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environments for our clients. This position offers the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud projects, collaborate closely with a talented team, and contribute to the success of diverse businesses. You will leverage your expertise in AWS services, cloud architecture, and infrastructure as code to design and deploy solutions that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. Troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing performance, and staying abreast of AWS advancements will be essential aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities - Work closely with stakeholders and other technical teams to understand customer needs and design cloud solutions that meet those needs. They create and maintain cloud architecture diagrams, including infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
- Set up cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. This involves selecting the appropriate cloud resources and configuring them in the cloud platform.
- Utilize automation tools to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure and applications. This includes scripting cloud infrastructure setup and using containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Monitor the performance and security of cloud systems to identify and remediate any issues that arise. They work to optimize cloud systems for cost and efficiency.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, answering questions about the cloud infrastructure and troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to ensure that their solutions remain cutting-edge and effective.
- Effectively delegate tasks to the appropriate team members based on their strengths and expertise, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
Requirements - Must have 3-5 years of experience in Python Scripting.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in PySpark and SQL.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in AWS Glue.
- Must have 3-5 years of subject matter experience.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in AWS Networking.
- Previous experience with federal clients is a plus but not required.
Qualifications - Bachelors Degree
- Masters degree in a business or technical field to substitute for 2 years experience
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- AWS Solutions Architect
- AWS SysOps Admin
