Job Description :
Essential Job Functions
Knowledge and experience with deploying and managing cloud solutions in AWS/Azure.
Proficient in designing and supporting cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS.
Understanding?of cloud automation and orchestration tools and techniques including Git & Azure DevOps.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Automation of infrastructure as code using git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform.
Troubleshooting and supporting containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
Ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies
Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs
Provide technical oversight, review and quality control throughout the life cycle of the implementations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferably Certified AWS Certified Sysops Administrator
3+years of relevant experienceas a cloud engineer with following key skills:
o Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
o AWS Networking/ECS/EC2/Network/IAM, CLI, & best practices
o Devops practices and CI/CD Development
o Git based development
o Systems administration Windows or Linux
Other Qualifications
Strong presentation and written communication skills.
Work successfully as part of an onshore/offshore technical team to successfully implement the requiredsolution (link removed)>
Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is between $[92,000 115,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
