Job Description

The core function of the AWS Systems Engineering is to provide a cloud infrastructure for supporting many of the business's compute needs along with ancillary tooling and services. Our customers consist of various business and product teams as well as many partners around the globe. The core function of the Systems Engineering team responsible for providing an infrastructure for a wide array of compute needs along with any supporting tooling and services

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain RCG's AWS compute environment with a focus on the performance, availability and growth needs of the company.
• Support digital platform teams with rapid provisioning and construct of AWS and AZURE services.
• Work with cloud vendors in conjunction with RCGs own infrastructure, security, and capacity teams to deliver a set of compute and storage strategies that align with RCGs DC standards and lifecycle management.
• Build effective partnerships with business and product teams along with relevant service owners to provide a first-class cloud compute infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING, AND SUPPORTING AWS and AZURE INFRASTRUCTURE AT SCALE.
• 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH ONE OR MORE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (CHEF, PUPPET, ANSIBLE, ETC.).
• 5+ Years building and maintaining IaC and CI/CD Pipelines.
• 5+ Years supporting third party CI/CD toolsets such as GITHub, Jenkins, DKP, Openshift, Terraform, snyk, jira, kuberneties
• 5+ Years in cloud monitoring and capacity management toolset (Cloudhealth, cudos, IWO, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

• EXPERIENCE WITH ONE OR MORE LINUX DISTRIBUTIONS.
• PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE IN PYTHON, POWERCLI, GO, RUBY.
• EXPERIENCE DEPLOYING AND MANAGING SERVICES AND APPLICATIONS WITH PUBLIC CLOUD PROVIDERS.
