Responsibilities:

  1. Develop AWS IoT solution architectures in one or more industrial domains, such as manufacturing & industrial automation, supply chain, energy & resources, utilities, TTH (travel, transportation, and hospitality), retail, healthcare & life sciences, etc.
  2. Continuously engage clients through thought leadership to ensure the achievement of project goals and generate innovative ideas for providing additional value to clients, fostering long-term relationships.
  3. Translate business needs and customer pain points into digital platform/product use cases and business/market requirements. Collaborate with IoT solution leads and internal stakeholders to create end-to-end IoT solutions for clients based on their specific business needs, utilizing TCS assets/accelerators and partner resources.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. and/or M.S. in any engineering discipline or computer science.
  • 10-15 years of experience as a technical architect with deep knowledge of the business and technical drivers in one or more key vertical market segments mentioned above. Experience should include developing IoT and other digital technology solution architectures based on client requirements and use cases, considering domain context.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS architectures on Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in architecting end-to-end IoT solutions on AWS cloud, encompassing the following capabilities:
    • Creating AWS IoT services in the AWS portal and Command Line Interface.
    • Working with AWS IoT Core using Python SDK, including AWS IoT device setup, ThingShadows, and streaming of IoT data to DynamoDB.
    • Configuring AWS IoT Greengrass through AWS portal and CLI, as well as setting it up on physical devices.
    • Managing AWS IoT devices, including Fleet Hub for AWS IoT Device Management.
    • Utilizing Amazon Timestream and Grafana for data analysis.
    • Developing Digital Twins with AWS IoT Twin Maker.
    • Leveraging AWS IoT Analytics, including QuickSight, to detect anomalies and perform streaming analytics with Kinesis.
    • Applying AWS IoT Best Practices, including SNS Hook and Redshift Streaming.
    • Configuring Node-RED for IoT applications, capturing sensor data, events, and creating Node-RED dashboards.
    • Implementing critical event streaming, streaming data to Amazon OpenSearch Service and Amazon Managed Apache Kafka, sending location data to Amazon Location Service, and utilizing AWS IoT Core Device Location with Amazon Location Service.
    • Utilizing AWS IoT Events for event-driven architecture.
    • Using AWS IoT Core Device Advisor, including the AWS IoT Core Device Qualification Test Suite.
    • Proficient in writing Python or C# code to build prototypes.
  • Ability to incorporate end-to-end IoT security and privacy considerations into solution architectures.
  • Effective communication skills to convey detailed technical requirements to engineers, data scientists, and technologists as needed.
