Job Title: AWS Project Administrator

Location: Huntsville, AL

Description:

• Ensure sufficient technical details for submission of change requests (CRs) and incidents to external managed service providers (MSPs)
• Submit and track CRs and incidents to MSPs
• Represent team at external organization change control meetings to provide clarification/answer questions related to CRs
• Respond to MSP questions and clarification requests
• Assist with preparation of Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) requests for review, approval, and implementation by MSPs
• Coordinate validation of solutions provided by MSPs
• Update request tracking systems to reflect status of CRs and incidents
• Review requests and incidents for management escalation as needed
• Coordinate closely with management, client, peers, and external organizations to ensure requests and incidents are addressed completely and efficiently

Skills:

• CompTIA Security+
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• At least 2 years working as an administrator within an AWS environment
• Experience using a request tracking system (e.g., Atlassian Jira and Service Now)
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Experience with CoTS, GoTS, and Open Source Software (Installation and Configuration)
• Accurate and complete written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Sound judgement and analytical skills
• Ability to perform research with limited site-specific documentation
• Ability to identify solutions to solve problems
• Familiarity with the following IT Concepts, Operating Systems, and Technologies -
• Microsoft Windows and Windows Server
• Redhat Linux
• SSL/TLS Certificates
• Networking
• CyberSecurity
