Role- AWS with Kubernetes Location- Austin TX (On-site) Type :- Full time JD: Cloud Architecture Leadership: Provide strategic leadership in designing, implementing, and managing AWS-based cloud infrastructure solutions, aligning with organizational goals. Kubernetes Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, orchestration, and management of containerized applications within AWS environments. Container Orchestration: Lead the design and implementation of container orchestration strategies using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of containerized applications. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code principles using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources. DevOps Integration: Foster DevOps practices by integrating AWS services and Kubernetes into CI/CD pipelines. Automate deployment processes for increased efficiency. Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce security best practices for AWS and Kubernetes environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies. Performance Optimization: Optimize AWS and Kubernetes configurations for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Implement monitoring and alerting for proactive issue resolution. Cost Management: Develop cost-effective solutions, monitor resource utilization, and implement strategies for cost optimization within AWS and Kubernetes environments. Capacity Planning: Collaborate with teams to perform capacity planning and ensure that AWS and Kubernetes resources meet the requirements of current and future workloads. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery within AWS and Kubernetes, considering business continuity requirements. Team Collaboration: Lead a team of AWS and Kubernetes engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of AWS and Kubernetes updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies. Drive a culture of continuous learning within the team. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expertise in the resolution of complex issues related to AWS and Kubernetes. Collaborate with support teams to ensure timely problem resolution. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of AWS and Kubernetes configurations, deployment processes, and best practices. Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date. Vendor Management: Collaborate with AWS and Kubernetes vendors to stay informed about new features, resolve issues, and influence product roadmaps to align with organizational needs.
