Account Executive (Remote) We have an immediate need for an Account Executive to join a biotechnology company in the equine genetics space. Location: Remote; ideally located in Texas, Kentucky, Florida, or California This job expects to pay about $80,000 – 120,000 annually. What You Will Do:
- Own a segment of company’s sales business for prospecting and qualifying potential B2B clients. The segment will be determined based on the skills and interests of the candidate.
- Create and manage a list of target prospects for this segment of business including company name, key contacts across entire organization, email addresses and locations.
- Use personal outreach techniques for cold calling to introduce and secure first meetings for discovery and qualification (e.g. email, social media, phone calls, etc.).
- Prospect (including thorough research) and network daily to generate leads which includes joining or developing applicable Lead Groups and other Business/social organizations.
- Manage the sales cycle for qualified accounts in this segment using our solution selling approach.
- Perform sales presentations throughout the solution selling cycle with qualified accounts which are focused on the needs of the client and the value to be derived from our solution.
- Maintain an accurate weekly forecast for all prospects showing key stages of the sales cycle using solution selling stages.
- Leverage resources for account planning/profiling, advancing the sales cycle, securing new client partnerships with key prospects, and building long-term & high customer satisfaction experiences for new clients.
- Develop and maintain industry information on key competitors including selling approaches, new product introductions and pricing.
What Gets You The Job:
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration; or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in outside sales, preferably in the commercial moving, logistics, or supply chain, with a successful track record of achieving sales revenue and target margins and effectively managing customer relationships.
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Service industry experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with process improvement teams.
- A love and knowledge of horses is a big plus!
