Account Executive (Insurance Broker)




What can you expect?


Your role as an
Account Executive
is to serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day communications with designated accounts, you will conduct follow-ups on correspondence and works to strengthen and grow account relationships.

You will be responsible for the retention, growth, profitability, and client satisfaction of a book of business containing various client accounts. This includes managing and developing client relationships, acting as the client's trusted advisor, pursuing new business development, and expanding and diversifying the mix of products and services the client holds.

We will count on you to:


Assisting with the development, implementation and management of insurance programs which accurately address client needs;
Actively assisting with the development of additional business from existing portfolios;
Assisting with the implementation of appropriate account retention, renewal, broking and defense strategies;
Timely and accurate production/processing of invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, certificates of currency and all other documentation.
Develop strong client relationships and maintain an awareness of their business and relevant insurance needs
Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation



What you need to have:


Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent)
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a private client insurance broker
Superior Customer Service Skills
Effective Communication Skills, both oral and written
Strong Literacy and Numeracy Skills
Superior attention to detail with strong multi-tasking abilities
Ability to priorities and organise own workload
Willingness to build long lasting relationships with clients
High level of professionalism with strong interpersonal skills
