SoluStaff is currently recruiting for their client, a national specialty construction company focused on the fall protection industry, who is seeking an Accountant/Office Manager. The companys clients span multinational corporations, mid-size and small private firms across numerous market segments who require proven fall prevention safety systems, processes, and education. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing across the operational functions of a busy small privately held business. This individual will support all accounting functions, support the Founder, and manage the office operations. This is an in-office position located in Hamilton Township, NJ.

Requirements

  • Ensure all purchase orders, sales orders invoices, bills, collection, and payments are properly entered into QBO (Quick Books Online)
  • Payroll entry and recording
  • Process new customer credit applications
  • Allocation of monthly credit card charges to jobs
  • Complete monthly closing process and produce reports for management
  • Accounts receivable monitoring and collection
  • Work with outside accountants to prepare financial statements and tax returns
  • Access corporate vendor portals for billing and safety compliance
  • Provide administrative support to the founder and others as needed to meet business objectives

Skill Set:

  • Bachelors in accounting, desired
  • Demonstrated history of increasing responsibility over at least 5 years in an accounting environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivator, professional attitude, and responsible
  • Energetic
  • Willing to take direction and learn
  • Strong knowledge of Gmail, Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player willing to assist with office duties as needed
  • Must complete a background check and a drug test prior to hire
