Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $90,000, plus bonus (negotiable based on experience)

Work Arrangement: In-office with remote work options available on a case-by-case basis

Job Description

• As the key point person for audits, reviews, and compilations, you will oversee all aspects of the engagement, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Prepare financial statements while adhering to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Provide recommendations to enhance client processes and accounting procedures.
• Undertake a variety of accounting and auditing assignments under the guidance of a principal or partner.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills, maintain high work quality, and adhere to professional and firm standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day audit, review, or compilation activities, manage client interactions, and ensure a smooth flow of information from the client.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a senior/in-charge role leading compilation, review, and/or audit engagements.
• CPA certification is preferred, and a Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and drafting footnote disclosures.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and CaseWare is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is a prerequisite.
• A team player attitude, willing to collaborate and support other members of the firm.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
