We are seeking an Accounting Manager, Income Taxes within our Accounting department located at our Global Headquarters in Allentown, PA!

This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Tax Accounting to ensure the proper accounting, reporting, and disclosure of income taxes in the Companys SEC filings. They will provide support and oversight to US and regional reporting teams.

The focus of this position will be on managing global provision impacts related to rapidly evolving global taxation schemes in the US and abroad (including the taxation of foreign income, cross border transactions, acquisitions, global minimum taxes, etc.) as well as the global portfolio of tax reserves.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Income Tax Accounting standards and meaningful provision experience with multiple global taxing jurisdictions as well as an eagerness to apply that tax knowledge in a complex, dynamic business environment.

Key Organizational Relationships include VP of Global Accounting, Director of Accounting- SEA, Director of Accounting- Europe, VP of Taxes, Director of Audit, and the Audit and Tax members of our external audit team (Deloitte).

Principal Responsibilities

Manage the income tax provision reporting for global tax reserves, US international tax provisions (including APB23), and other global cross border taxes. Collect, review, and prepare monthly income tax provisions related to these issues.
Perform detailed reviews of income tax provisions, deferred tax account reconciliations, return to accrual adjustments, and reporting in our OneSource Tax Provision system to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Analyze and provide tax accounting guidance for unusual and complex transactions, including significant tax rate drivers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture accounting, and tax restructuring activities.
Perform assigned analytical reviews of global provision impacts and provide to management and Corporate Tax teams for internal and external reporting purposes. Provide useful feedback on issues, trends, and areas for improvement.
Provide forward looking guidance on and assistance in implementing enhancements to our processes, controls, and the effective utilization of income tax accounting software.
Exemplify an earnest commitment to maintain and strengthen internal controls and processes in both design and practice to ensure our controls remain effective and SOX compliant. Provide thoughtful and proactive action to remediate any concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in finance or accounting; CPA; Masters of Tax a plus.
Strong technical knowledge and experience at a global accounting firm and/or comparable industry experience at a multinational corporation, providing at least 7 years of work experience in an US-multinational tax or technical accounting focused role.
Strong desire to be a part of building an outstanding income tax accounting team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, project management ability, a proven ability to build effective business partnerships, and strong conceptual and analytical skills.
Experience with income tax accounting software (OneSource experience preferred).
