Position Overview:

We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager in our Ridgefield Park, NJ office.  As the Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing the Accounting and AR staff as well as take ownership of all areas relating to financial reporting.  In this position the qualified candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Job Functions:

• Manage Accounting and Collections staff


• Responsible for General Ledger


• Ownership of the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Close process


• Manage Accounts Payable, other Accounts Receivable


• Prepare Quarterly and Annual Statutory Statement, with working knowledge of Sch P, Sch D and Sch F


• Responsible for Management Reporting to Korea, US offices


• Able to roll-up sleeves and do JEs, Reconciliations


• Perform Analysis


• Other tasks as directed

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of progressive P&C Insurance accounting experience


• Accounting degree with Masters and/or CPA a plus


• Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint


• Knowledge of Freedom ledger systems and F9 functionality is a plus


• Knowledge of Premium , Claims and Billing operating systems a plus


• Ability to work with senior staff
