We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the company's financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, ensuring payments are made on time, and maintaining a comprehensive financial record. This role offers a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts payable who is looking to make a significant impact within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Process invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accurate coding and approval.
• Manage and maintain vendor relationships, including responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring they are made on time.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline the accounts payable process.
• Provide support for audits and assist with financial reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
