We are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our team here in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a full-time, in-office position. The Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist will manage the accounts receivable process, ensure timely collection of payments, maintain a high level of customer service, and be responsible for bank reconciliations and cash applications. Responsibilities: - Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing.
- Responsible for bank reconciliations, cash applications, and preparing monthly customer aging reports
- Monitor customer accounts for past due payments and take appropriate action to ensure timely collection.
- Follow up with customers regarding past due invoices and resolve any discrepancies to ensure timely posting of payments to customer accounts
- Assist with other accounting and finance-related tasks, as needed
Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and B2B collections
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess a high attention to detail with accuracy
