Accounts Receivable Manager B2B SAAS (Remote)

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team and high-tech company. You will report to the Director, Order to Cash. You will lead our global AR function including subsidiaries. This role will focus on managing and improving the AR function by designing, automating, and implementing innovative workflow processes, tools, and dashboards that will scale with our global growth. This position requires strong people management skills and business acumen, financial reporting, and presentation skills.

This is a four-month (extensions possible), 40-hours-per-week contract role. Remote in the US.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee (No C2C or sponsorship available), with health benefits, and 401K offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Director, Order to Cash
  • Oversee staff members and ensure all past-due balances are actively pursued
  • Set collection targets and establish measurement metrics for staff members; mentor and provide productive feedback to staff members.
  • Drive innovation to continually assess workflow processes and implement improvements that deliver a high impact
  • Implement collection policies and procedures to avoid excessive outstanding credit and ensure that the company policy on recoveries is followed
  • Review credit limits on existing and new customers based on documented policy
  • Assess the risk of offering credit and escalate for approval if outside of the granted authorization limit
  • Analyze collections trends at the consolidated and business unit levels and coordinate with internal business unit stakeholders on escalated accounts
  • Develop dashboards and other reporting tools to support real-time insights into collections trends
  • Report and present collections activity to management on a weekly basis and prepare quarterly reporting packages for management
  • Review month-end reconciliations of accounts receivable accounts and assess allowance for double doubtful accounts
  • Set and drive AR performance to establish business goals; regularly achieve DSO, cash flow and % current targets
  • Recruit, hire, lead, train, coach and develop a talented staff of AR Managers, AR Specialists, and Cash Application Specialists to achieve business objectives in alignment with current and anticipated growth
  • Drive AR strategy including sizing group and talent structure to meet the needs of the growing and changing business
  • Ensure accurate and timely Cash Application Process
  • Lead the collaboration effort with cross-functional departments (i.e., Treasury, Operations, Tax, Accounting, Sales, etc.) to remove process roadblocks to ensure effective credit and collection practices
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and facilitate resolution and escalations with various stakeholders; attends meetings and represents AR team priorities
  • Work with Auditors/Accounting team to comply with all SOX requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing a collections team in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge of revenue accounting & M&A Integration experience
  • Software as a Service (SaaS) experience
  • Salesforce and NetSuite experience
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office software, with emphasis on Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc)
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent analytical skills for data mining

Compensation: $43.50/hr - $48.50/hr
