Encore is an industry-leading, full-service fire protection company serving the Northeast with offices from Maine to New Jersey with over 20,000 customers and over 900 employees. As the result of growth, we are searching for a dynamic AR Manager - Services to lead our team of dedicated collection professionals covering our service business and working in close collaboration with our AR Manager - Contracts. The role will be based in our Pawtucket, Rhode Island headquarters reporting to our VP of Finance and Accounting.

The AR Manager -Services will lead a team of over 10 dedicated professionals on a transformation journey towards optimizing the collections process and improving DSO all in the context of effectively partnering with our Operations team in providing our customers with excellent service.

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role that will directly contribute to the continuous growth of the largest full-service fire protection company in the Northeast. This role will be challenging but extremely rewarding(link removed)

Who you are:

• A hands-on and energetic leader with a background in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
• Experience with creating, deploying, and maintaining sustainable processes that help collections teams operate more efficiently and effectively.
• Knowledge of collection tactics and how to deploy these effectively across a large team that will reduce DSO.
• A penchant for motivating teammates in an atmosphere of positive and constructive communication that facilitates the teams engagement in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Business.
• 5-7 years of demonstrated success in accounts receivables in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with collections process re-design and/or implementing a software-based collection tool, a plus.

• Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor with success in motivating and inspiring large teams.
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems, Sage CRE a plus, and related software
• Understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition
• Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel

• Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
• Strong communication and time management skills. Ability to learn quickly.
• A customer-first mindset and ability to multi-task.
