The Grenzy Recruiting Group is working together with one of SWFL's most prominent golf and country clubs in the search for a new accounts receivable specialist. The accounts receivable specialist will report directly to the club controller and will be primarily responsible for member's receivables.
This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in an organized, supportive environment. Since A/R interacts with the members on a daily basis, there's more than just crunching numbers and staring at data all day. In addition, this role provides subsidized health insurance, dental and vision, life insurance, short term disability, and a 401(k).
Duties include:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Member Billing
- Posting cash applications
- Completing bank deposits
- Tracking A/R aging
- Daily credit card reconciliations
- Food and beverage adjustments
- Processing sales tax
- Assisting with month end close:
- preparing journal entries
- Account reconciliation
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates for the accounts receivable position should have 2+ years of general accounting experience, including full cycle accounts receivable, preferably within the member services industry. Experience with Jonas, NorthStar, or Clubessential is also a plus.
