USA Clinics Group is seeking an Accreditation Specialist to provide administrative support and oversee multiple clinics nationwide to ensure that each clinic is survey-ready and meeting all AAAHC, ACHC, ACR, JCo, IAC and other regulatory guidelines under the direction of an operations team lead.

The position focuses on overseeing training and implementation of policies and procedures as well as maintaining them to stay up to date with all accreditation standards. This position will involve the planning and coordinating of onsite mock surveys, as well as managing any follow-up or quality improvement needed based on the outcome of these mock surveys to challenge our team to grow and improve constantly as we maintain our high level of standards for patient care.

This role involves supervision and leadership within a team environment of all full-time, part-time, and contract clinic staff at multiple clinic sites nationwide. Traveling onsite nationwide is expected in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for the regulation-compliance of the Cath lab and for the planning and development of new Cath labs.
  • Has expertise and knowledge in accreditation standards that will assist in tasks both independently and collaboratively with the operations team to ensure the continued excellence of our accredited clinics
  • Support, assist, and coordinate tasks as required or assigned so that accreditation standards (AAAHC, ACR, ACHC, JCo & IAC) are met and maintained nationwide.
  • Investigate areas for improvement and initiate ongoing Quality Improvement activities.
  • Ensure that all staff and physicians adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Ongoing preparation and participation in all accreditation surveys, ensuring that all sites are always survey ready and ensure completion of accreditation prep checklists
  • Travel as needed to Cath labs nationwide to run mock surveys, finding areas of excellence and where improvements can be implemented to be best prepared for accreditation surveys.
  • Communicate with and direct staff across the country to ensure continued maintenance of day-to-day operations that uphold the adherence of accreditation standards.
  • Oversee completion and maintenance of in-services, logs, drills, and risk management activities.
  • Maintain excel sheets and folders relating to operations.
  • Demonstrates a professional company image through interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff, and physicians
  • Support, assist, and coordinate tasks as required or assigned so that accreditation standards (AAAHC, ACR, ACHC, JCo & IAC) are met and maintained nationwide
  • Assist in coordinating committee meetings, but not limited to, Quality Improvement & Governing body
  • Prepare and maintain committee minutes, notices, analysis reports, correspondence, calendars, agendas and presentations using computerized software programs including Microsoft Office
  • Work with vendors to order and deliver all equipment/supplies are on site prior to survey
  • Organize and schedule mandatory annual services
  • Responsible for updating all necessary electronic manuals (P&P, Radiology, Laboratory)
  • Oversee, conduct, and manage audit activities to ensure accreditation compliance
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating all operating policies, procedures, and safeguards for efficient, effective, and timely workflow
  • Oversee, coordinate, and implement staff educational and training materials, including but not limited to, videos, webinars and other modules used by the organization
  • Research and analyze information, compile data to prepare special reports containing KPI (Key Performance Indicators) following the Senior VPs direction
  • Organize various complex projects from initiation to completion
  • Prepare correspondences, scheduling meetings, maintain executive calendars, routine record keeping and prepares spreadsheets
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve problems within scope of position
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of medical office operations including appointment scheduling and medical records maintenance
  • Assist in creating, organizing, and maintaining communication channels between all members of the team
  • Support implementation of new policies, procedures, or practices to improve efficiency of office operations

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred(link removed)>
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with direct involvement in the healthcare Accreditation process required(link removed)>
  • Ability to travel as needed - this position is expected to travel frequently(link removed)>
  • Ability to train employees in their area of specialty.
  • Demonstrate professionalism within corporate environment.
  • Ability to carry out instructional delivery whenever necessary.
  • Ability to train and evaluate the success of the employees.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
