The Activities Attendantis an integral part of the camper's visit, providing an experience beyond all expectations by fostering enthusiasm, creativity and fun. You will execute and support all aspects of organized activities, social events and camper engagement. The goal is to ensure a high level entertainment during each activity and, make sure staff and participants are engaged and participating in a responsible and safe manner.

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Attend and engage in weekly meetings to discuss current status, inventory and safety lists
- Assist in facilitating guest sign ups and schedules
- Knowledgeable in working with and engaging youth ages 7-17
- Ensure a high level entertainment during each activity
- Responsible for setting up, instructing, and leading participants through each planed event or activity
- Create and initiate accommodations, games and challenges to enhance each participants experience
- Facilities and Equipment
- Oversee all activities throughout the campus
- Responsible for the safety and vibe of the facilities used around camp
- Assist in routine maintenance and inspections for all equipment (safety logs, operational sheets, and incident logs)
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact and in person.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision.
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility and accountability.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse groups of people
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Experience
- 1+ years of experience working with kids and/or teens
- Experience working in a camp environment is preferred
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Health and Safety Certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings during summer:
- On-site work attendance at Woodward PA
- Summer Camp Season (June 9th - August 24th)
- Preferred 2-week commitment within Summer camp season
