Position Summary

• The Trauma Registry Abstractor collects, abstracts and codes data for patients with traumatic injuries using both ICD-10 and the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS). This position reviews medical records and identifies reportable cases and collects required data related to severity and cause of injury, course of care and outcome. The Trauma Registry Abstractor enters the data into the Trauma Registry database according to the State of Oregon trauma registry guidelines. Does related work as required.
