This position is located in the Financial Services unit within the Division of Regulation and Licensure. It is an exciting opportunity to become an essential member of a small financial unit that is responsible for all fiscal aspects in the division. The position will work closely with program staff to ensure prompt payment of a variety of expenses as well as providing backup to other team members in the unit.
What youll do:
- Payment of lodging invoices related to travel within DRL, including verification of stays as to purpose and correct coding of the payments.
- Review purchasing requests to ensure appropriateness of purchases and vendors. Ensure proper coding of payments.
- Review non-encumbered payment forms, invoices, print requisitions for accuracy and apply appropriate funding codes. Process using SAM II or MissouriBUYS as appropriate.
- Serve as backup for DRL in the processing of DELTA and MOBIUS reports.
- Serve as backup for entering corrections in SAM II HR related to rejected and incorrect time reporting.
- Responsible for inventory within the Financial Services Unit and Directors Office of DRL as well as the supply cabinet inventory for the 920 building.
- Serve as the Fixed Asset Manager for DRL Financial Unit
- Review expense reports to ensure appropriateness and ensure proper expense coding.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Four or more years of clerical experience in fiscal or budgetary controls, procurement, accounting or bookkeeping, or closely related areas, including two or more years in a supervisory or semi-technical capacity; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
- Previous experience with SAM II financial and MissouriBUYS is preferred.
- Previous experience with Excel, Word, Access, and Adobe.
- Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for year basis for the required experience at a rate of 24 earned credit hours for one year.
