Hope House is offering a Sign-On Bonus to qualified candidates hired as new employees to fill various part-time and full-time positions.

To be eligible for the Sign-On Bonus, the employee must not be considered a temporary employee. In addition, employees are eligible for the bonus one time only. Candidates will receive 50% of the bonus upon their second paycheck, and the remainder upon successfully completing their probationary period of employment with Hope House. The total amount of the Sign-On Bonus is as follows:

$750 (work an average of at least 40 hours per week)

$375 (work an average of between 20-39 hours per week)

$188 (work less than 20 hours per week)

Please note that all Sign-On Bonuses will be subject to lawful withholdings and deductions. Hope House reserves the right to discontinue the Sign-On Bonus at any time at its discretion.

We are currently seeking a Financial Case Manager at our Administrative Office in Albany, NY

Job Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Reports To: Admissions Manager

Compensation: up to $19.479

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Checking in clients and taking temperature
  • Completing Daily Cash Report weekly
  • Completing Weekly Copay Report weekly
  • Collecting Copays
  • Checking Insurance and explaining benefits to clients at assessment
  • Helping clients with insurance problems
  • Monthly Insurance Verification for all clients
  • Covering Front Desk when Office Coordinator is on break, lunch or out of office
  • Answering Phone
  • Preparing urine Drug Screens requisitions for clients
  • Scheduling Assessment Appointments and completing appropriate paperwork
  • Making appointment reminder calls for Doctor & PNP
  • Helping Office Coordinator make up Packets and Charts for future clients
  • Helping Office Coordinator close out charts & medical charts yearly
  • Entering assessment/admission/discharge information into OASAS

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One (1) year experience. DSS or related experience preferred.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Analytical, and Problem Solving Skills

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • HS diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred
