After-School Teacher / Bus Driver for Preschool | Loveland
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking an Afterschool Teacher / Bus Driver for our preschool in Loveland on Piney River Drive (near Centerra). Position may be part-time or full-time. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!
Pay range: $18-$19 per hour, based on experience, education and credentials. Higher pay available for those with childcare experience.
Bus Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely transports children to and from area elementary schools in small bus.
- Safely transports children to and from field trips during summer months.
Float Teacher Responsibilities:
- Cover teacher breaks
- Work with a variety of age groups to assist lead teachers
Requirements
- Early Childhood Lead Driver: Applicants must be 21 years old, have proof of a high school diploma or GED and must meet one of the following options:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or education related degree preferred.
- At least 9 months of experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center with ECE coursework completed OR completion of two(2) three (3) semester credit hour courses from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education; one (1) of the courses must be either Intro to ECE, Guidance Strategies or the Department approved Pyramid Plus Training or EQIT.
- Level 2 or higher Shines Credential 3.0: a combination of experience and professional development
- Current Child Development Associate Credential (or the equivalency; i.e, 12 ECE Credits)
